Yea now it loads faster since the map isnt automatically shown. They still need to work on fixing the bugs in their system rather than always changing the homepage. The email system still sucks really bad when repyling or forwarding.

No map by default (it's slow), featured assets (with description text!), featured users, featured communities, less election - all good improvements. Members have needed better exposure on the main page, I'm pleased with this.

Im pleased to but just a reminder to watch your default picture, some people may not like what you like. Now they will be out there for all to see. I started a pg13 drive for default pictures just faces and it didnt hurt my hits.
