i recently9today) found a city and registered it,,it is St. albert in alberta canada,,pop.57,000...great city,,however i see someone bought a city called st-albert alberta canada also...i would like the forum to weigh in on my future move according to this registration
1 what supercedes the other the first one to register a city that resembles the spelling or the correct spelling annunciation included

2. do i let them coexist and let it be business as usual or contact weblo support and ask for a ruling

I would determine my action this way.Buy a property see who gets credit for it. If its not you yell. If you wait to long it may be a can of worms.

i did buy it,,we both own st.albert...his is registered st-albert mine is st.albert both in edmonton canada

is it the exact name on both?? cuz if it is then report it to weblo! their can't be 2 st-alberts..lol

no buy a property in that town and see who makes the income

one is with a dash in between and one is with a . after st if i report who should wind up the mayor??? me or the original - one? i feel mine with the . is more correct..ive never seen a - city in canada

yeah i think it is st.albert! check it up on the net! find out go the the main st albert site and see and then if your right then email weblo with the proof and see what they are going to do!

just registered a property,,when registering you have a choice of st-albert or st.albert..of course i chose mine...im keepin it..57,000 pop in canada....

Yeah, I know how you feel. I registered a city in California named El Paso de Robles, which is the official name of the city, however, most people call it Paso Robles, so it has become known by that. After I registered El Paso (this was when I first joined Weblo), I noticed there was also a Paso Robles registered; same city. I just hung onto El Paso, though, and didn't give it much of a thought. I've also noticed plenty of inconsistencies with cities I've wanted to register in India and China, so I've avoided them. I'd say for you Charleston, since this is obviously causing you far too much grief and sleepless nights than you deserve, the best thing to do is to sell St. Albert to me for a buck. Then you can relax, once again. ;-}

lololol,,,well i have a feeling im on the losing end of another city of Mine Hallandale Florida...they changed their name to Hallandal beach in 1999,,but weblo has both listed...ive emailed them havent heard anything back yet...ill sell u st.albert for 27 right now if u want it..

that realy suck that they change your citys name then you lose because of this!

well somewhat my fault,,didnt research it enough before purchase,,there are traps everywhere in weblo,,have to tread carefully

in the past discrepancies webl would always offer he lsoing party a bonus amount of cash and refund the $ used in the purchase,,ive had 2 discrpeancys and they paid me an extra $10 for the trouble...because each was their sites fault,,,check this out,,while diggin for cities,,i also came across one named / yep simple / st.george bermuda..no way would i register that one...lolololololo I am the mayor of / lololo
