| Weblo has been around for 2 years now and assets, especially cities are worth even less than they were in 2006, lol. Do you guys think Weblo will still be around for the 3rd birthday? | |

| weblo.com Estimated Worth $389301.7 USD Now Check Your Website Worth, daily pageview and monthly possible income Enter Website http:// Estimated Data Net Worth : $389301.7 Last updated Today Daily Pageview : 177019 Daily Ads Revenue : $533.29 Now if you take that figure as being true thats 200 k in ad money. I would think that covers the cost of weblo. As far as people at weblo getting paid ? should they ? | |

| LOL, if those figures are correct then Weblo is barely making it. 200k per year minus Colin's salary and anyone else if there is anyone else, minus hosting/equipment fees, minus taxes is going to be less than $90k per year. That is enough to run Weblo but if the revenue doesnt pick up they will probably just scrap it and try something else. I can guarantee you Rocky didnt start Weblo to make $90k per year and I can guarantee the VC firm that gave them money is pissed as hell right now. Rocky had originally said that he wanted Weblo to become an IPO within its first year which is a crazy goal to begin with. Weblo needs to get its membership up to at least 500k people by its 3rd birthday. If there are only like 120k members a year from now that will just be pathetic. | |

| Myspacers arent on Weblo for two main reasons. First, none of their friends are there so it would be weird for them to join a new social network just to be online friends with strangers. Second, the whole thing seems like a scam. I have tried to get at least 20 of my friend to join and when they see it they tell me it looks like a scam and they dont join. Only a few of them actually joined. Weblo just looks like your typical website that always spams you to join trying to convince you that you can make some money like Bux.to. | |

At one point Tom only had one friend lol. If we dont grow as a social site the numbers will never be there. Without numbers cities fail. Dont tell me companies will come they dont like ghost towns. | |

| I see weblo as being useful as a backlink that will actually generate a bit of traffic.
Communications on weblo are limited, which limits usefulness as social network. Number of messages (unless changed), number of comments on a site, poor integration/setup of community features (although improving).
Probably the fastest thing would be to set up a chat area. Worked for AOL, sure there would be minor rebellions and whatnot, but would also provide a place for inter-site traffic, promotion, deal making as well as a place to actually make friends.
Big factor is how many people are actually active on the site at any given time, to make it active. Would go towards providing a central core, since the prospect of an onsite forum is not likely to happen.
Thoughts? | |

| i emailed weblo saturday, with some suggestions,,one was to make the site a tad funnier place to be,,honestly theres not much to do...so suggested them set up some site sponsored games,trivia,contests,,etc....loggin in,building clickin and rating gets a tad old in the tooth,,,be nice to see a weblo sponsored site with updates, game area, weekly contest, and apllication downlaod area to downlaod chat,widgets,etc.. | |
