Microsoft confirms search will be available on Facebook

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Microsoft Corp. confirmed Thursday that it will begin providing its online search service through popular social networking site Facebook Inc. Microsoft senior vice president for search, portal and advertising platform group Satya Nadella said Microsoft's paid search service should begin appearing on closely-held Facebook some time in the fall. Microsoft made a strategic, $240 million investement in Facebook late last year. Nadella and other Microsoft executives were addressing analysts at the company's annual analyst day
