| Shammy managed to get a TV site to #1 on yahoo. Used Noomle, and has a magnify.net TV site backing it (no idea how extensive, but magnify is easy to use)
Yahoo may not be google, but the site itself is significant
SoftwareHelp.tv #1 of 1,900,000,000 ya.. 1/1.9 BILLION results. Sure there are only 790 exact searches a month for "software help" but I imagine the competition for the phrase is pretty intense.
course, checking google, his magnify channel is #1 in the results list, so that may be the reason.
Just the same, I think there are potentials in that. Guess I will have to study up on that a bit. My guess is that a single powerful .tv word with magnify backing is a pretty good recipe for traffic.
For those that havent used magnify.net, basically you set up a channel and give it a name. The bot goes and finds however many videos you want based on keywords and bang. You have a site built, it can be set to update. You can be selective or you can just let it post whatever it finds from revver, youtube and about ten other services.
Have an account, maybe I should have been paying more attention to it. Magnify works on a split ad revenue model, or you can pay for service and keep all of it, something like that, been a while. If you don't setup your adsense, they just keep the cash obviously. Later

| enom.tv has them for 24.99 I think, might be a GD code floating around, have to check namepros.
Magnify.net sort of a video/social network. Finds stuff for you. You can build a channel there. You can also embed into your site from there. Paid version does more. Free version works though.

| Ahead.tv has tools you need if you are going to do tv. Drop catcher links, that sort of thing. You need to be aware of potential premium renewal fee costs when buying .tv, many are standard reg, but premiums run 50-10k per year to renew. These can be checked at ahead.tv | |

| Oh ya, third thing. Another good place to check is this thread. http://www.namepros.com/tv-marketplace/Often will require immediate renewals, but by the same token, people will often be ditching them for anything they can get. In many cases these are domains the owner is going to cut from their portfolio to avoid renewals, but many times they are good names with solid value and strong potentials. I've seen some really good ones come up on this thread and get sold for $1 and later get resold for much more. Many times very solid names which don't fit the owners portfolio well go for $20-$30. Most small purchases are done by verified paypal. Think about whether you can come up with a channel concept that makes sense and would have an audience and check the exact searches. You will want a lot of them. For those interested in .tv development there is a good board at http://www.development.tv | |

| Looked into this a bit NameCheap.com is apparently the cheapest place to register tvs. $17.99 for first year. Haven't had time to look for GD codes yet. | |

| You got 3 for six bucks? How? Sixty? You got at least one of them that is probably valuable outright, although any of them could be with development.
My guess is you got them at namepros. What's your expiration time frame?
