Weblo Responds to Email About Payouts

Just got this in my email a bit ago:

Thank you for contacting Weblo support.

Effective January 1, 2009 we have new procedure for processing withdraw requests:

* Please note that all commissions earned from membership upgrades and referrals cannot be withdrawn for a minimum of 45 days. All withdrawals are manually verified.

* All withdrawal requests are processed at the end of the month, minimum 30 days after the request date.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused.

It seems they intend to honor withdrawals, but not until at least 30 days after the request and not until the end of the month. This would mean that if you make a withdrawal on payday, they're not going to process it for about 45 days.

Also note that they've made this new policy retroactive from the first of the year.

It also probably worth noting that they haven't processed this month's earnings yet which should have happened yesterday, but at least there's someone in the office so maybe it will happen today yet...

well as a busniess ive always said they shoulda done this from the jump..rolling money for a month or 2 gives u time to invest that cash short temr or many ther options,hell if it was my busniess all new members wouldnt physically get any $ til after 1 year...it would stay in their accounts,they could use it or whatever but cant withdraw,,but,,,,im not weblo..

typical, im just so tired of the one way street . Effective Jan 1 ? another back date to the TOS , but tell me when were they going to tell us that. Information is they key and weblo sucks at it .

thats a move they should have had from day one or its a stall so they can get over seas
or it gives them enough time to pay us off at the higher amounts now that they cut us the income checks wil be small. So they have zero money and they are floating the large amount 45 days to get adsence and konetera income to cover.: after that they will have no problem paying because thier ad income will be much greater then the gold they pay us. Continue being a slave or continue taking stuff down gee i wonder.

just like all things weblo missed their chance..satellite radio was big once now their stock is .05-.10...kaneva,entropia and a host of other sites have zoomed past weblo in design,functionality and popularity, they manipulated their way to a high alexa with auto generated pages,and a site design that requires several pages being clciked to access one topic,etc,,which helps increase their site ranking,,all by design,,weblo will grind to a slow halt or puffy chug,however u want to call it,either way the steam is gone and elvis has left the building,,,assets,pfft cant get rid of them,cant sell them,so theyll be spam houses...like a crack house not a great place to go but serves its purpose i guess...

A year is too long. I would personally say 45 days is about right, from the management side. Might as well let the players float the cash instead of your company. A year is insane, the turnaround has to be quick enough that people will work at it.

Weblo is turning into a giant link farm, just a matter of time until google picks up on it, especially as original creatives stop appearing in the high traffic areas. Of course they may just ignore it, depending on the adsense revenues they get. Probably not though, they've certainly killed enough parking companies, which is essentially what weblo is functioning as.

when can I expect payment ? march 6 thirty days than april first ?

yea i think that's by april 15th....

mine was jan 30 rated to the last day of jan, (31) hold 30 day paid march 12th

According to their latest policy...

February 6th + 30 days = March 6th + end of month = March 31st.

The first round of payments under this system were about a week or so late, so I'd say you can expect your money somewhere between April 7th and April 10th, but should officially happen on March 31st.

Withdrawing anywhere from the 15th to the end of the month should get you your money in the shortest time possible, but I'd suggest doing it sooner than later, if only to be higher in the queue in case they run short of money to pay out with...
