We maybe screwed but we still have a vested interest

After the intial shock and pissed off email it's time to request from weblo a new TOS and pay structure. In my gut I feel the regular pay cut is only temporary and only a ploy to make losing Pass Go not seem that bad, when they give us that back. Granted they might just be out of $$4's or trying to run the producers off and go off on their spam path. Either way we need to know the new payout structure.


As it stood and correct me if I'm wrong because in my next email I want to be precise.

The Ad network did not pay out.
Greater Revenue streams were dead.
Airports were just regular properties in terms of pay out.
We did not recieve registered hits on galleries or news.
Digital assets paid nothing

We did recieve 1 cent per 15 hits
Pass Go acording to Membership level paid on the thousand hit ie 11,000, 12,000

Now Pass go did'nt register for me yesterday even though I had an asset roll it's 30,000 th hit, which under the old system would have been a buck and under the new rules still should have been a dollar.

Regular Pay was dramatically reduced 90% or so and appears to pay 1 cent for every 100.

I plan on request the new rules, without them we are stuck in the dark.

They need to clean up the crap airports, ad network, greater rev etc and let us know exactly how and when we will get paid. Without it we are flying in the dark and I did not spend VIP dollars to float aroud blind. If my 100 hits for a penney guess is correct a VIP domain costs 1.05 cents a year, which means you would need to rack up 10,500 hits to brek even, only a handful of domains would be sucessful if you take away the pass go dollars. So essentally domains are dead.

Here is what I want to know please add any others.

1. Were is the new regular pay line 15, 25, 50, 75, 105
2. Were does pass go start from yeaterdays number plus 10,000 or on 10,000, 20,000, 30,000 etc

I'd also like to see them clean up the rules, meaning not have to dig through updates and old rules. Actully I like a set of new rules, on the front page that details what they are. Additionally I want a contract, meaning if I sign up July 31 st 2008 those rules apply to me for the next calander year, any changes will take effect the next year and I can decide if I want to continue. This will elimiunate knee jerk reactions, it's extra incentive for members to actually pay, it will protect us from getting smacked in the face and allow us to determine strategies to overcome the changes.

nice write up nole,,agreed if u pay for vip u should be grandfathered under those terms in which u paid for,as in all paid sites terms can be changed but only after your existing term is expired,,,in other words,,if u sign to abuy a house at 25,000 when u get to closin table they cnat say,...oh btw we are sellin the house for 50,0000 now..

since the recent changes it looks like 150 hits to make a penny, where it was 15 hits for a penny. Reduced by 90% like the Pass Go earnings.

Well I can't see making much to brag about in a month now. Certainly not enough to make me wanna stick around and put any effort into it. Anyone interested in any of my properties, domains, celebs...let me know. Not willing to give away anything but will entertain decent offers...not sure about my cities yet though..might keep those still.
